After the Ball is a series of self-portraits created with inspiration from artists' works such as Toulouse-Lautrec, and Ramon Casas; is a playful interpretation of the draining everyday news and mental health issues from another era's colors and perspectives.
The painting-like photographs were shot and then edited with digital brush strokes and scanned textures, in order to create a high resemblance with the original piece, yet playing and changing their context using modern-day symbolism.
