Elif Sanem Karakoc was born in 1990 in Istanbul, Turkey.
She studied Drawing and Painting in Avni Akyol Fine Arts High School and then attended to the Photography department of Marmara University's Fine Arts Academy.
She opened her first solo exhibition in Finland Iisalmi Underground Photo Gallery in 2006.
Her work has been exhibited in many galleries, festivals and art shows in Portugal, France, Romania, Korea, United States and Turkey.
Elif's creative photography has been featured in various magazines such as Vogue, Lucy’s, Trendsetter, Marie Claire, Bak and Madame Figaro. Many of her photographs were used for book covers and magazines in all across Europe, along with USA, China and Russia.
She’s currently living and creating in Los Angeles, CA.
